HELEN H. SWEET, 92, of Colorado Springs died Sept. 17. Services will be private, with burial at Fairmount Cemetery. Mrs. Sweet was born in Denver on June 28, 1908. She married Channing Sweet, 1936.
Survivors include daughters Jananne McPherson, Elise Sweet; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

CHANNING F. SWEET, 95, of Colorado Springs died March 5. Services were March 12 in
Fairmount's Little Ivy Chapel, with burial in Fairmount Cemetery. Mr. Sweet was born June 12, 1898, in
Colorado Springs. He married Helen Hecox on Sept. 3, 1938, in Denver. He was a rancher and a World War I Army veteran. He was the author of
A Princeton Cowboy. He belonged to the El Paso Club, Garden of the Gods Club, and the Cap and Gown Club of Princeton University. Survivors include his wife; four daughters,
Katherine Johnson, Sandra Watson of Denver, Jananne McPherson of
Oakton, Va., and Elise Sweet of
Phoenix; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
